Greetings Folks!
It’s time for another long awaited update here on the blog. July has been a busy month of Wedding Receptions so getting to the updates is not always possible.
Anyways, since the last update we had the opportunity to perform at Tom & Megan Evenhouse’s outdoor wedding reception in Homer Glen, Illinois. Unlike most couples they decided to have their reception outdoors under a large white tent in Megan’s backyard. Along with it being outside they also had a really cool 1920′s theme (As you can tell in the video with our cool hats). The layout was truly unique. They exchanged their vows on a small deck that extended out into the pond right in their own backyard. It was pretty cool! After the ceremony the stage was set and it was time for the party. Some highlights of the reception were a surprise father/daughter swing dance, a live Frank Sinatra impersonator and a really cool hat for me (the DJ). :)
