An often overlooked banquet facility on the southwest side of Chicago is the attractive and spacious Double Tree Hotel in Alsip, Illinois. This magnificent facility is located on 127th street just west of Cicero avenue. It’s easily accessible from the Tri-State expressway.
The knowlegable staff and experienced chefs at the Double Tree are very accomodating and easy to work with. They have great food and their serve times were impeccably fast.
Since the banquet facility conjoins with the hotel it doubles up for a meeting place for your out of town guests. The hotel also offers a free shuttle to and from the airports. Now that’s a major perk in my opinion! I’ve also been told that if you book your wedding reception at the Double Tree in Alsip they’ll comp you on your first anniversary. I always thought that was a great perk as well.
