Matt & Katie Postema | Oct 9th, 2009

On October 9th, 2009 we had the pleasure of DJing for Matt & Katie Postema’s wedding reception. Their reception took place in the beautiful East Room at Odyssey Country Club in Tinley Park, Illinois. From start to finish this was definitely a “high energy” reception. We started the night with a fun Earth, Wind and Fire Introduction. After the introductions Matt & Katie cut the cake to the ever so popular wedding song “Accidentally in Love” by The Counting Crows.

During dinner we had an open mic time for the guests of the reception to give some words of advice to the Matt and Katie. It was a lot of fun to listen to some of the unique things that their friends and family came up with. As soon as dinner was over it was time to let loose and dance!

Matt & Katie kicked the dancing off with their song “My Best Friend” by Tim McGraw. After they shared their special dance together we had their parents join them on the dance floor for the traditional Father/Daughter and Mother/Son dance. After the formalities it was time to open things up to the guests and let loose. As you can tell by the video below it was a fun crowd!
