Quite often people ask us what makes us unique or different from other Chicago DJ companies. After a little thought, these were five things that came to our minds. If you were to look at our DJ services as a wedding cake, these would be the delicious icings on top!
You’ll have a minimum of at least two face-to-face consultations with the exact DJ that will be handling your event. Your first initial meeting will be to strategize your goals and expectations for the reception, while your following meeting will be to review those expectations and make sure the final details and playlists are consistent with them. One of the newest features we’ve added to our Wedding DJ service is the Jam Cam video! The Jam Cam is a small unmanned HD camera that is strategically placed to capture all of the highlights from your wedding reception. We then edit the footage down into a 10 minute video that gets uploaded to Youtube and Facebook! It ‘s a great way to showcase your wedding with your friends and family. Week after week our wedding blog is updated with highlights from each of our client’s reception. These highlights include a brief article and jam cam video from the evening. Trying to figure out pricing and packages from DJs can really give you a headache. At Operation Getdown we don’t offer a bronze, silver, gold or platinum package. That’s just plain bogus! We offer one all-inclusive package price. No need trying to figure out how many speakers, watts, sub woofers and lights you’re going to need for your perfect reception.
