Dinolfos Banquet Hall in Mokena, IL

If you’re from the south side of Chicago chances are you’re familiar with Dinolfos banquet hall. They currently have two locations one in Homer Glen and one in Mokena. The Homer Glen location is a little bigger than the Mokena location and is only a few years old. The Homer Glen location has four dining rooms that are all separated by portable dividing walls. With all the walls removed the facility can accommodate 1400 people. So if you’re looking to have a large reception or dining experience this may be the hall for you. As mentioned the Mokena, IL venue is a little smaller and can accommodate 1100 people or less.

After 10 years of being in the entertainment business, we’ve been at Dinolfos the most. In fact, Dinolfos is one of our favorite banquet halls in Chicago. If you’re looking for a newer and more modern banquet hall that is clean and well kept Dinolfos would be a good place to start.

Upon entering the Mokena facility you’ll be greeted by a large oval shaped lobby with beautiful winding staircases that lead upstairs to the four private bridal party rooms. You’ll also be impressed by their stunning crystal chandelier.

After you enter into their banquet rooms, you’ll notice their high vaulted ceilings that are complimented with shinning brass chandeliers. Each banquet hall has a marble bar area and a large hardwood dance floor big enough for any bridal party. The truly unique thing about Dinolfos banquets though are their magnificent staircases in each room. These staircases will work great for bridal party pictures and grand entrances.

The food at Dinolfos is also top notch. They cater all different types of food from filet mignon to baked pacific salmon. After eating their several times we’ve never had any complaints. They are always friendly and very helpful with whatever you may need.   Over the years we’ve worked hand in hand with Chris, Chuck, Megan and Bart and they’re all very professional at what they do.  We highly recommend them!

If you do choose Dinolfos banquets for your reception be sure to talk with them as to which vendors you’re using.  All vendors walking in the door of this facility will be required to have a liability insurance policy.   You’ll want to check with Dinolfos to be sure your wedding vendor is approved. This should be one more reason to make sure your wedding photographer, videographer, and disc jockey is legit..
