Cultural Center Chicago Wedding

If you’re looking for a beautiful and quiet oasis in the middle of the city to host your wedding reception then you have to check out the Cultural Center in Chicago.  This historic facility was built in 1897 as Chicago’s very first public library and was designed to impress the world. Chicago wanted to let the world know it had truly become a metropolis. 

Because of it’s beauty and luxurious design the Cultural Center has become a hot spot for private parties and Cultural Center Chicago Weddings.  This large facility has several different rooms available for weekend rentals.  They can handle large weddings with up to 800 guests or small weddings with under 100 people. 

After performing for a few weddings at the Cultural Center I realized how much a room itself can act as part of the decoration of a wedding.  I have yet to find a facility that tops the ornate designs of this venue.  You could essentially scrap your entire decoration budget and add that to the room rental.  Couple that with the right vendors and your Cultural Center Chicago Wedding will lead your friends to think you’re a millionaire.     

You can even host your wedding ceremony at the Chicago Cultural Center.  The total cost for a wedding ceremony is surprisingly only $10.00!! That’s right only ten dollars!!  There are a few catches of course.  Most wedding receptions are held on Saturdays between 10:45-11:15am.  There are quite a few couples that  host their ceremonies there, so your time is very limited.  I would only consider this facility if you’re looking for your wedding ceremony to be short and sweet. 

Each time I’ve eaten at the Cultural Center there has been a different caterer.  The venue generally gives you a list of preferred catering vendors and it’s up to you to choose the one you like best.  I can tell you this though, the ladies that actually work at the Cultural Center are some of the best in the business.  You’ll have no regrets if you book this facility!
