One of the greatest things about the city of Chicago is it’s great history. If you’re a history nut and would like you’re wedding venue to have a historic feel then you have to check out the prestigious Columbus Park Refectory. The Columbus Park Refectory is located in the Columbus Park grounds right off of I-290 on the outskirts of the city.
While dining at the Refectory your guests will enjoy the serene country club setting with the chance to dine in a Chicago landmark. Inside the Rectory there are two distinct dining areas each with it’s own personality.
While dining in the refectory you’ll appreciate the beautiful views of Columbus park and the large lagoon that runs through it. If that isn’t enough, the Refectory also has a generous-sized dance hall with a black and white checkered floor. Very impressive!
Just outside the facility there is a large pavilion that provides a great stage for an outdoor wedding ceremony. The pavilion is completely covered and will accommodate up to 250 of your wedding guests. If that isn’t enough there is even a large patio on the back that works great for cocktail hour and free parking for all of your guests on the grounds.
